Himalaya
The Himalaya is a giant range of fold mountains in central Asia, beeing raised by the Indian tectonic plate colliding with the Eurasian plate. At the Himalaya, you will find 10 eight-thousanders (measured from sea level). The other four eight-thousanders are all in the Karakoram-range, which follows directly north-west to the Himalaya.
